Congratulations to Class 3B, Steelstown PS!

The children in Miss Lynch's P3B class at Steelstown Primary School were the winners of our 'name the mascot' competition. The children chose the name Rua for our squirrel, the mascot of Derry Credit Union's CLASS! savings programme. The credit union members visiting our office on International Credit Union Day voted for their favourite name. Rua came out top of the list! We think Rua is a particularly apt choice since it means 'red hair,' and red squirrels are a common sight around Derry and Donegal.
