Congratulations to our School Savers!

Congratulations to all the pupils who participated in our CLASS! School Savings Programme. The children saved over three terms and received all their money back just in time for the summer holidays. What happy faces! We also received lovely feedback from school principals, such as Steelstown PS Principal Siobhan Gillen who wrote,

"Thank you to Derry Credit Union for allowing our children to save with you on a weekly basis. Our savers are very proud of what they have accumulated and achieved this year. Saving for a child today is a great gift for their future. Not only can they start their adult lives with some savings, but getting our children involved early with saving will also help them learn important lessons about money. Our children managing their money now will reap so many benefits for them in the future. Having knowledge and control over their finances is such an invaluable life skill. Each and every child who has saved is very proud of him/herself. Thank you from Steelstown P.S. for all your support."

We look forward to working with our participating schools again in September -- and maybe even a few new ones!
