Nominations now open- 2026 Young People Awards

Derry Credit Union is delighted to announce that nominations are now open for our 2026 Young People's Awards.

Each year, our awards celebrate the outstanding achievements, dedication and positive contributions of young people across our city and district. We are continually inspired by the incredible talent, leadership, resilience and community spirit shown by young people in Derry and this event provides an opportunity to recognise and honour those achievements.

The awards span a wide range of categories, including volunteering, leadership, sport, innovation, and many more. Whether it’s a young person or group of young people who go above and beyond to support others, excels in their chosen field, or demonstrates exceptional commitment to making a difference, we want to hear about them.

We are now inviting schools, youth organisations, sports clubs, community groups, families, and members of the public to submit nominations for deserving young people who are making a real impact in our city.

If you know a young person/ group who deserves recognition, we encourage you to put their name/s forward and help us celebrate the positive difference they are making.
